Work on the Loop 360 project at Westlake Drive and Cedar Street in Austin, Texas is continuing with water line installation, rock excavation and embankment at various locations throughout the project area. The project is expected to improve the safety and functionality of the roadway, as well as reduce flooding in the area.

The project is part of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (CAMPO) Transportation Improvement Program, which includes a variety of projects aimed at improving mobility, safety and access in the Austin area. The Loop 360 project includes the construction of a new bridge over the Colorado River, and the installation of new drainage systems, lighting and sidewalks.

The project is expected to be completed in early 2022. In the meantime, the public is advised to use caution when driving in the area and to obey all traffic signs and signals. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the City of Austin are working together to ensure the project is completed safely and efficiently.
