Leander Returns to Phase 2 Water Conservation Efforts After Successful Pipeline Repair

On March 7th, Leander, Texas returned to Phase 2 water conservation efforts after the successful repair on the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority pipeline. The repair work began in late February and was completed on March 1st.

Phase 2 of the city’s Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan allows for weekly irrigation before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m. on designated watering days, which are determined by street addresses. Handheld watering is also permitted at any time.
