On March 9, the Cedar Park City Council will be discussing budget amendments, development and water construction contracts, and updates on residential tree limb collection. In the wake of Winter Storm Mara, the City of Cedar Park has been offering cleanup and disposal opportunities for residents.

Council will consider a 41.8 million contract with TFR Enterprises Inc. for emergency brush cleanup services and will consider extending the local disaster declaration in place. Finance Director Kevin Klosterboer will present a fiscal year 2022-23 financial report for the first quarter and will also consider amendments to multiple parts of the FY 2022-23 budget and updates to the city’s capital improvement plan.

Multiple construction contracts will be considered for approval at the March 9 City Council meeting, including a change order worth $278,812 for the Lakeline Park Phase 1 project, a change order worth $347,123 for City Hall and municipal court renovations, and a maximum construction contract amount of $12.8 million for the new Cedar Park Public Library project. Council will also consider the approval of a $1.1 million contract for the construction of the Water System Resiliency project.

The Cedar Park City Council will meet March 9 at 7 p.m. at Cedar Park City Hall, Cypress Creek Road, Cedar Park.
